Product Description
Get ready for a ride through the alphabet at a busy construction site. There's a big yellow Bulldozer, a tall shiny Crane, a rusty red Dump truck--and the construction crew is hard at work. But what are they building?

Not a typical ABC book July 26, 2010 T. Mackey (Colorado) It's more of a story about building a theme park, and the alphabet is kind of a side note. The illustrations are very colorful and super cute! If you have a kid who loves machines this is a great book!
Not Just for Little Boys June 22, 2010 A. Wrigley (Sultan, WA United States) This book is a great choice for toddlers and early readers. My daughters and my son all enjoy this book. I only wish the cover was a little more durable, as it is only laminated card stock and isn't holding up to use as well as other better bound books we own. Also, the rhythm of the poetry is not exactly spot-on. But these are minor points of criticism for a book that is otherwise perfectly suitable for what is was intended to be.
A lasting favorite October 15, 2009 Nonfiction (Boston) This has been a favorite with my 3 year old son for over a year now. I am not tired of reading it either. The rhyming text is great and the illustrations are fun. There are all sorts of construction vehicles which is a big hit with my son. I love showing him the seasons changing and the two boys engaging in different seasonal activities as they watch the amusement park come to life. He is just beginning to enjoy the ABC component of the book so I would guess this will continue to offer him enjoyment for sometime to good. I would recommend this for any toddler or preschooler interested in construction.
Cute book April 12, 2009 Ruby Wells (Idaho) It's a cute book. My son loves it. He loves construction things so this was right up his alley. Pictures are very well done.
Great book! September 7, 2008 Joyce McDermott (White Plains, NY USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
A wonderful way to teach children the ABCs and to understand a story about how something is built. Several members of my family are in the architecture, engineering and construction fields, so this book is a great way to help my son learn more about his relatives' jobs. Great pictures, too!
